Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your AIMECH.APP account and personal data, what happens when you do, and what limited information we must retain. It supplements the Privacy Policy with the deletion process specifically; the Privacy Policy covers how we collect and use information generally.

How to request deletion

1. Sign in to AIMECH.APP and open the Account page.
2. Choose the account-deletion option and confirm. Deleting your account deletes the data listed below.
3. If you cannot sign in, email info@mehyar.us from the email address on your account and identify AIMECH.APP in your message. We may verify your identity before processing the request.

What is deleted

• Your account profile and sign-in information.
• Saved vehicles, VIN and plate details, service history, and garage data.
• Diagnostic conversations, questions, uploaded photos and files, and AI results tied to your account.
• Account preferences and usage history that is not part of a record we must keep (see below).

Timeline

We complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request, and usually much sooner. Copies that remain in backups are not used for any other purpose and are removed as backups rotate.

What we retain, and why

• Transaction records. Payment and subscription records held by Stripe (plan, dates, amounts, and a Stripe customer identifier) are retained as long as needed for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations. We never store full payment card numbers.
• Security records. Limited security and abuse-prevention logs may be retained where reasonably necessary to protect the Service and investigate misuse.
• De-identified data. Aggregated statistics that no longer identify you are not personal data and may be retained.

Retained information is used only for those purposes and is not used to provide the Service to you after deletion.

Before you delete

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it from your Account screen first so no further charges occur. Deleting your account does not generate a refund: as stated in the Terms of Service, all purchases are final except where required by law.
